Forthcoming Productions

A big thank you to everyone who came to see our last production ”At the Sign of ‘The Crippled Harlequin’“, by Norman Robbins, which judging by audience reaction as heard from back stage went down very well – also, see “Reviews” section for NODA write up.

Our next Production is to be “Snake in the Grass” by Alan Ayckbourn, a “suspense drama about murder, blackmail and haunting” and this will run from Wednesday 11th to Saturday 14th April 2018. The production is to be directed by Mike Nicholls, with the following cast: -

Annabel Chester – Erica Nicholls

Miriam Chester (Annabel’s younger sister) – Becky Mee

Alice Moody (a nurse) – Ivana Smiljanic*

“Miriam has cared for her father in the family home during his vituperative last years with the help of a creepily polite nurse, Alice. On Father’s death, Miriam’s older sister, handsome divorced Annabel, comes home after over 30 years in Tasmania to find  Daddy has left the bulk of his estate to her. Alice complains to Annabel that Miriam has sacked her and is intent on blackmail, having evidence, she says, that Miriam ‘did away’ with the old man. Scatty Miriam and tough Annabel join forces against Alice, but all does not end there, or well……..!”

* Cast Change – Thanks once again to Ivana for stepping in to replace Caroline Hill, who has had to withdraw due to ill health. Our best wishes go to Caroline for a speedy recovery and a return to the stage for our next production in November.
